Country: Morocco (not Norway?)
Nose: Heavy waft of tuna fish when you pop the top.
Eye: Ugly. I like the visual variety of the skin and bones.
Fork Feel: Firm, almost too firm. It feels hard-packed.
Tongue: Honestly, my nose impression is carrying
through, tastes like tuna fish to me. It says it’s packed in olive oil but I don’t pick up much of that. I thought the higher than normal calorie count for a can of sardines would suggest a lot of oil I realized it’s just a bit more fish – not a bad thing. However, I think I would prefer flavor – either from oil or skin and bones.
Mouth Feel: It’s still very firm. And dry. The inner suburban kid in my is dying to add mayo. Maybe it should be flaked with a fork more that just devoured out of a can.
